About The Travel Hack

The Travel Hack is one of the UK’s top 10 travel blogs. It’s a blog about stylish adventure travel and affordable luxury. I offer travel tips and advice to encourage people to travel more. Most of the posts on The Travel Hack are personal, first-hand experiences.

Here are the answers to some of the advertising FAQs I receive:

How do you like to work with brands?

Whenever possible I like to work on long-term partnerships with brands. I like open, honest and creative relationships that are beneficial to both The Travel Hack and your brand but, most importantly, beneficial to my readers.

I work with brands I genuinely love and trust. Any recommendations on The Travel Hack go through The Best Friend Test – if I wouldn’t recommend it to my best friends or my family, I wouldn’t recommend it to my readers.

Can you tell me your stats?

Stats accurate in February 2015

  • Monthly Pageviews: 120,000+
  • Newsletter subscribers: 1,800
  • Facebook followers: 4,000+
  • Twitter followers: 22,000+
  • Pinterest followers: 150,000+
  • Instagram followers: 3,000+
  • Bloglovin’ followers: 2,000+

What kind of advertising do you offer?

Text ads, sponsored posts and hosted competitions. I also offer reviews of products, destinations, accommodation, activities and apps.

I also offer the opportunity to sponsor #TravelBookChat, a monthly online book club hosted by myself and Jayne Gorman from Girl Tweets World. Please drop me an email if you would like any more information.

Do you not offer banner advertising?

No, at the moment I don’t offer banner advertising.

Can you add a link to my site for free or for a ridiculously low sum of money?

No, no I can’t. Please do not email me asking me this.

Are you interested in offering affiliate links to my product?

No, at the moment I’m not working on any affiliate partnerships.

Can I have your address so I can send you a product?

I review very few of the products I’m offered so please email me to check it’s a suitable brand match before sending anything. I’d hate for you to send anything that could not be featured on The Travel Hack.

Can I arrange a meeting with you to discuss an opportunity?

Of course, whenever possible I like to meet face-to-face.  I’m in London approximately once a week but I’ll be on maternity leave from March until further notice. I’m also happy to Skype so feel free to email me to arrange a meeting.

Are there any other ways we can work together?

I’m always open to new ideas and partnerships so if you have a cool idea, please feel free to get in touch.

If you’d like to work with The Travel Hack but you’re not sure how, please feel free to email me and tell me more about your objectives and I can get back to you with some ideas.

Would you like to come on a press trip?

I’m expecting a baby in March (yey!) so at the moment I am not scheduling in any group press trips abroad until summer 2015. I would love to hear about individual press trips or baby-friendly travel opportunities for summer 2015 onwards.
