I’m on the hunt to find the very best women’s travel toiletry bag.

If I’m honest, I’ve been hunting for this mythical toiletry bag for years. I’ve never had one that’s quite right. They’re either too big, too small, too many pockets, not enough pockets…you get the idea!

I decided to order all the best selling travel toiletry bags for women from Amazon and share my thoughts…

Narwey Hanging Toiletry bag

Best for: My personal favourite

This Narwey hanging toiletry bag has a really unusual design. I love that it has one, big pocket for bottles and then side pockets to keep makeup or smaller items separate and organised. It ticks every box and I love the design too.

Organisers and dividers incase I do want to be organised with that big pocket!

Lots of mesh pockets
Extra compartments and pockets for makeup
Lovely, wipeable design

The only downside to this is that it falls over. So unless you’re leaning it against something it’s a bit awkward. Now the majority of the time it will be sat on a bathroom counter leaning against the wall or mirror. But there will be times when it’s not and, I’m not going to lie, that’s really annoying when it falls over.

Funnasting Wash Bag

Best for: Simplicity

This was my second favourite. I like the simplicity of having one large pocket but also appreciate having a separate mesh pocket for anything I want to keep away from my liquids bottles.

There’s also a dry pocket on the bottom which would be handy for things like damp flannels and toothbrushes.

This is a simple design for a women’s travel toiletry bag but it’s the most practical of them all and doesn’t have any annoying niggles.

4 piece washbag

Best for: Having a bag for everything/ families / lots of toiletries

I got this one thinking it would be great to use each bag for different items:

Shower products
Make-up
Haircare and styling
Skincare

If you take a lot of toiletries away with you then this is a really nice option!

These bags were cheap at just £8.49 and could also be used to keep things nicely organised at home too.

They could also be a good option for a family!

Veyarien Hanging Folding Cosmetic Bag

Best for: Budget

This is the cheapest of the lot at just £7.99.

I’ll be honest and admit that this does feel cheap but I’ll also say that for £7.99 it’s a bargain and I’d have no problem using this toiletry bag for women.

It’s got a hook and simple, easy to access pockets in the flap. One pocket is waterproof and it has organisers inside. It stands up easily and doesn’t fall over and I think it’s the perfect size.

If you want to keep costs down, this is the one for you.

And if you like a bit of matchy matchy with your travel accessories, I also have these packing cubes which match perfectly and would look lovely inside your suitcase!

Norway long hanging toiletry bag

Best for: Communal showers

This was my least favourite of the lot. It could be handy when being used in the hanging position but unless it’s hanging it’s just awkward. It’s too long to fold out onto a bathroom counter but you have to fold it out to access each compartment.

If you’re regularly using communal showers (gyms and hostels) then I think it’s a good option because you might be taking your entire washbag in and out of a shower or communal bathroom each time.

Narwey Green PU Cosmetic Bag

Best for: Simplicity and ‘just chuck it all in’ type travellers

I liked the look of this one because sometimes it’s easiest to just have one large toiletry bag to chuck everything into. All those pockets and zips can overcomplicate things sometimes.

While this one came up under travel toiletry bags for women I’d definitely say it’s more of a make-up bag (which it is actually labelled as so that’s my bad!)

The lid of this bag has a compartment that would be great for makeup brushes or your toothbrush and there’s a detachable purse that could be handy too. I’d put things in there that I need to keep clean and dry such as cotton pads and medication.

But overall I felt that this toiletry bag was too ‘floppy’.
