If you’re a long time reader of the blog you’ll know there’s nothing I love more than an organised bag! Whether it’s a massive suitcase, my gym bag, my travel backpack or my everyday handbag.
My life often feels chaotic and messy but at least my luggage is always nicely organised!
I was excited to hear about the Fold + Roll packing organiser; a simple yet effective way to organise your clothes when you travel.
As we all know, sometimes the simplest ideas are the best!
What is the Fold + Roll Packing Organiser?
The Fold + Roll Packing Organiser is a minimalist organiser to keep a small amount of clothes organised in your bag. Think one outfit neatly compressed into a neat little parcel.
You lay the Fold and Roll organiser out and place your clothes inside the square which is printed in the middle. Then fold both sides in and roll it down from top to bottom. You can then tuck it all together and it stays rolled up in a neat, compressed package.
Pros and Cons of the Fold + Roll Packing Organiser
Pros
- It’s simple and easy to use
- It compresses your clothes slightly to make them smaller – but not so much they’re going to be creased
- It does keep your bag organised
- There are no strings or chords which can make things more chaotic and tangled in your bag
Cons
- It’s only big enough for a small outfit – think a gym outfit or a child’s outfit
Who is it best for?
The Fold + Roll Packing Organiser is best for:
- Parents carrying around a few small outfits for babies and toddlers
- Gym-goers taking their gym clothes in their work bags
- A small amount of overnight clothes – think clean undies and a fresh top if you’re staying at a friend’s overnight
- Just your underwear – especially if there’s a chance someone will see inside your bag and you’d like to keep your underwear unseen!
Is it big enough?
This packing organiser is great if you’ve just got a small outfit. But I tried to use it for jeans, a t-shirt and a jumper and it isn’t big enough. So it really does only work for small, thin, lightweight outfits.
What will I be using it for?
I’ll be using it to pack my underwear when I’m travelling with just hand luggage.
I rarely use packing cubes when I’ve got just a small hand luggage bag because they actually take up more space. But I don’t like it when I have to open up my bag at security and there’s a chance my underwear will fall out!
You can get the Fold + Roll in a variety of colours for £30.
