Sunset Sunday is in dedication to all the beautiful sunsets around the world. Sometimes we’re so busy that we don’t get the chance to really appreciate how gorgeous the sunset is so I’d like everyone to start noticing! Stop what you’re doing for a few moments and look at all the amazing colours of the sunset. If you manage to get a good photo, let me know and we can feature it on Sunset Sunday. Send emails to: [email protected]
This week’s Sunset Sunday comes from Frankie – also known as Bird, who is currently flying around south east Asia on the way to Australia and New Zealand. Her blog As the Bird flies… follows her journey. She’s a Londoner through and through but recently left her job, family and lovely London life behind when she fell for a nomadic Australian who spoke to her increasingly itchy feet and thus her travel adventures began..

Ah only just caught up with these lovely comments. Thank you all! Though must admit the sun was doing all the hard work in this photo ;-)

Such bright and magnificent example of nature's unceasing beauty and glory. I've always found sunsets particularly astonishing.

Wow Monica, just WOW! What am I doing wrong when I'm aiming for this?
I only have a little cybershot camera, but I'm sure I can be doing better. Nice work.

I think the trick is to zoom in as much as you can so you cut out everything that isn't in that gorgeous orange orb.
I love the Sony Cybershots, great little cameras!
